Important:

Following the governor-mandated closure of all public libraries, the Harbor Springs Library will be closed beginning Monday, March 16th through Monday, April 13th in order to allow our community to practice responsible social distancing and prevent exposure to COVID-19 via shared public space.

We will be renewing all checked-out books through April 13th and ask that you NOT return books until then. There will be NO fees accrued during this time.

Remember that the Libby app is still available and you can download ebooks and audiobooks readily during this time. If you have questions about how to do this, This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it..

We thank you for your patience and understanding during this challenging time and ask that you take care of your loved ones. Please stay home, wash your hands often, and sanitize your living space. The best way to curb the spread of COVID-19 is to limit exposure to possible carriers. We can make an impact if we all work together.

If there is a book that you're looking for that we don't carry in our library, you can request to borrow it through our InterLibrary Loan program  (the Michigan e-Library or MeLCat) and have it delivered to us. With our limited shelf space, this broadens our available resources substantially, and we are pleased to offer this InterLibrary Loan service to our patrons for free.
